Kim Johnson
Owner & Baker
Baking has always been a part of my home. For years, I baked cookies, breads and sweet treats simply to share with my family. The kitchen was where memories were made - mixing bowls on the counter, the smell of something warm in the oven, and everyone wandering in to see what was baking.
A few years ago, I started paying closer attention to food labels and what was actually in the things we were eating. I realized many store-bought baked goods were filled with preservatives, dyes, and artificial ingredients. That's when I decided to return to the way baking used to be done - with simple, real ingredients.
Today, everything I bake is made the old-fashioned way using ingredients you can recognize and trust. No preservative. No artifical colors. No unnecessary additives. Just flour, butter, sugar, eggs, yeast, and other simple pantry staples coming together to create something special.
My cottage bakery is an extension of my home kitchen - a place where tradition, simplicity, and care go into every batch. Whether it's a soft sandwich loaf, a classic cookie, or a seasonal favorite, my goal is simple: to bake the kind of treats you'd be happy to serve your own family.
